NARA Organic Medjool Dates

Originally from southern Morocco, Medjool dates are now grown in the most suitable regions – Israel, Palestine, California, South Africa or Namibia – where the climate and soil allow for a slow and complete ripening of the fruit. The Medjool date begins to produce after about 7 years and reaches maximum productivity only after 10-12 years, which makes these large dates rare and valuable.

Medjool is distinguished by its impressive size (up to 6 cm long), soft, almost creamy texture, and a rich, fleshy core, reddish-brown in color with golden reflections. They are harvested in the cold season, from October to January, and stored under controlled temperature conditions to preserve all their qualities.
